Whether we are celebrating the union of
two kindred souls or just trying to get away from the Mundane world,
we always try to have fun.
The Clan of the Celtic Rogues has a
deep-seated appreciation for the Renaissance Festival. Moreover, we
try as a group to attend as many different faires and festivals as
much as possible over the year.
During
the year, we also attend
"Monthly Socials" at various locations and special events, as
well as non-scheduled meetings whenever we like and including
whoever cares to attend. During the last weekends before a
renaissance event, we hold functional meetings (a "Mend It /
Make it / Fix it") to ready our garb and camping gear as well
as preparing ourselves

for the upcoming event and celebrate its forthcoming. If
there's one thing that gets us going, its a good Ren faire, and we take pride in ourselves
on looking good, having a good time, and lifting up our cares for a while, with
friends we love and cherish.
We are
friends inside and outside of faire, and it shows. These are the Events we
attend.

The Texas
Renaissance Festival is one of the nation's largest, most acclaimed renaissance
theme parks where the sights, sounds, tastes and beauty of the 16th Century come
alive every Saturday and Sunday for 7 weekends October 2nd through
November 14th, from 9 AM to dusk.

The village of Scarborough invites you to
experience the spectacle of mighty knights jousting for honor. Watch the amazing
feats of the Royal Falconer and swashbuckling swordfighters. Be entertained by
jugglers, magicians, bawdy wenches and much more on our 11 stages. Enjoy the
high-energy music of the bagpipers and the melodies of the minstrels. Shop for
treasures in over 200 village shoppes, watch artisan demonstrations, and feast
throughout the day on over 60 delectable types of food.
Weekends from April 10 to May 30, 2004, plus Memorial Day Monday, May 31.
Festival gates open at 10:00am and close at 7:00pm. Opening Ceremonies begin at
9:45am; Closing Ceremonies begin at 6:45pm, open rain or shine.

The usual legal disclaimers, really. All very boring, but some people
like to know this. So if you are one of those people, then click on
this link. You'll find all the things you really shouldn't find
interesting but apparently do.
